About the Event
Samuel Hasselhorn has established his career on the international stage since winning First Prize at the 2018 Queen Elisabeth Voice Competition. The German baritone, born in Göttingen in 1990, has won countless admirers as a perceptive interpreter of song, thanks not least to the heroic power and beguiling freshness of his voice. ‘Hasselhorn,’ wrote The Times of his recent all-Schubert album, ‘is so expert at varying the colours in a beautifully sustained vocal line that every shade of darkness becomes just a thread in life’s rich tapestry.’
