Manchester-born drummer and composer Miles Pillinger is one of the most exciting young voices emerging from the UK jazz scene. Winner of the 2025 Peter Whittingham Award, Miles combines adventurous improvisation with the rhythmic energy and melodic richness of Brazilian music, drawing inspiration from artists including Hermeto Pascoal, Max Roach and Chick Corea.
