Colombian trio Los Pirañas are a genre-bending delight, twisting traditional tropical styles into something raw, playful and wild.

Featuring Eblis Álvarez of Meridian Brothers, the group draw on cumbia, champeta, chicha and vallenato, reworking them with a rock attitude and offbeat sense of humour.

Their joyful live sets have taken them to festivals across Europe, and put them at the heart of the revival of the Colombian music scene.
