About the Event
Σ [sigma] — Berlin Series I
Σ [sigma] is the first chapter of Antonio Raia’s Berlin Series: a trilogy exploring the relationship between body, sound, and space, developed through a series of encounters and recordings in different locations across Berlin.
The album was produced together with Francesco Donadello, with Vasilis Marmatakis contributing the artwork and Elio Di Pace the documentary accompanying the project.
At Morphine Raum, the venue for the concert and one of the spaces that will host a day dedicated to the upcoming chapters of the Berlin Series, Σ [sigma] takes on a new form.
The live performance is a solo sonic performance by Antonio Raia, built around a precise sonic dramaturgy, where saxophone, body, and space enter into dialogue, and sound becomes a gesture to be experienced.
