With the release of their anticipated debut album, ‘Songs For The Desert’ which received amazing reviews in Rolling Stone magazine and a successful tour across Europe, Smith & Liddle headline PizzaExpress Live Holborn alongside their full band. After being named ‘Ones To Watch 2026’ by BBC Introducing, the duo have just packed out the Paradiso in Amsterdam and have a run of shows booked in the UK.

As the desire and comfort for nostalgia continues to grow, Smith & Liddle breathe new life into the sounds of classic music eras with their debut album, Songs For The Desert, released on, Légère Recordings.

After a UK & EU tour supporting Young Gun Silver Fox, Smith & Liddle headed out on their own Germany & Netherlands tour in January promoting their latest album, Songs For The Desert. Backed by BBC Introducing as ‘Ones To Watch 2026’, amazing reviews in ‘Rolling Stone’ & ‘Shindig’ Magazine and appearances on British TV like Channel 4’s ‘Sunday Brunch’, the pair alongside with their full band are played a selection of German cities then ended their tour at the famous ‘Paradiso’ in Amsterdam.

Following years of swapping records and building a transcendent musical connection, the duo (comprised of Elizabeth Liddle & Bill Smith) have crafted a collection of songs that echo the spirit of the 1970s beautifully. The album specifically draws inspiration from the impeccable studio techniques and timeless musicianship of records such as Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours as well as the lush & distinctive harmonies of The Mamas and The Papas.
