The Soul Rebels

New Orleans brass music has rarely travelled as far from home as it has with The Soul Rebels.

For more than 30 years, the eight-piece has taken the city’s brass-band tradition into hip-hop, funk, soul and rock, becoming the band that can move between a New Orleans street parade, a Blue Note stage and a show with Metallica without losing its identity.

This high-energy collective arrives in London carrying a living piece of New Orleans musical culture with them, ready to tear the roof off with an all-out brass explosion.
