London is awash with genre-bending creativity at the moment, as artists of the new generation break down preconceived barriers of genre and style. Nowhere is this better encapsulated than in the music of NO TRIXX, as the 6 piece band deliver a vast array of sounds with grime, rock and jazz-fusion influences laced throughout their music. Combining the lineage of windmill scene bands, the UK's rich rap scene and London's budding jazz-fusion output,if you're looking for a night of fresh and inventive, yet still accessible and viscerally pleasing music, look no further than NO TRIXX. NO TRIXX were formed through hours of improvisation between guitarist Gabriel Consolmagno and drummer Louie stuart. Together they crafted the groundwork of the band’s sound, first with raw, rock driven exploration and later incorporating influences from the rich tapestry of the London music scene. As the band's membership grew the sound only became more eclectic with the band using sounds to craft detailed musical and emotional journeys for the audience and create an intoxicating atmosphere that allows the listener to become swept up in the journey of each gig. The band's debut EP TOTEM saw the addition of the rapper Lippy (Aidan Bernard) and saw the band exploring the blend between UK rap and the UK's instrumental fusion scene. The band are currently preparing new music, recording a set of double singles consisting of paired instrumental & vocal tracks that showcase the duality of the bands sound, uniting the differing emotion experiences that both styles are able to elicit in the listener.
