Allan Harris Sings a Nat King Cole Christmas
Lineup
About the Event
Award-winning jazz vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader Allan Harris will be in concert celebrating the timeless holiday music of Nat King Cole, one of the greatest pianists and vocalists of all time. This is a night of true classics in a cozy, comfortable room.
Harris has spent decades perfecting his craft and winning the accolades to prove it, including being named a two-time Hot House Jazz Magazine “Best Male Jazz Vocalist,” earning Back Stage’s “Ongoing Achievement in Jazz,” the New York Nightlife Award for “Outstanding Jazz Vocalist,” and the DownBeat Critic’s Poll “Rising Star Vocalist” award. Beyond his recordings, Harris has brought jazz storytelling to the stage with Cross That River, a critically acclaimed jazz-inflected musical tracing the journey of Blue, a Black cowboy whose story stretches from the antebellum South to the wide-open West.
