About the Event
This concert is a journey through a human life, told in song. It moves from cradle melodies and youthful longing to love, loss, and farewell, guided by music shaped by folk traditions and their many echoes. Bringing together works by Brahms, Schubert, Britten, Mahler, Rachmaninov, Weill, Brel, and others, in an intimate pairing of baritone voice and accordion, the music stays close to the body - shaped by breath, memory, and the human need to sing. Across languages and generations, these songs reflect what connects us all: tenderness, longing, and the shared pulse of human life.
