Tamara Barschak’s Kaleidoscope Quartet

Tamara Barschak’s Kaleidoscope Quartet aims to offer the listener a kaleidoscopic vision of music in all its glorious harmonic colours.

Inspired by the many genres she grew up with as a child in London, the music combines genres such as Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, Latin, bossa nova, and ballads. The quartet moves seamlessly between genres, sometimes even fusing them within the same song.

As well as performing Tamara Barschak’s original material from her critically acclaimed 2022 album “Kaleidoscope”, the band will also be playing new songs from her forthcoming EP “Luminosity”.

And to top off the evening with a glorious latin sheen, the quartet will perform gems from the Brazilian Canon, songs written by renowned composers close to Tamara Barschak’s heart, and a couple of re-imagined classics.
