In a program featuring only wind instruments, the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble explores love in all its forms - from romantic longing to redemption - through works by Richard Strauss and Schönberg. Flemish writer Maud Vanhauwaert transposes the story behind Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht to the present day. Through playful, astute observations and unexpected twists, she brings love and vulnerability to life.
