About the Event

Melbourne International Jazz Festival returns for a fourth year, bringing Australian artists Xani Kolac and Don Glori to our FreeStage for EFG London Jazz Festival.

Melbourne International Jazz Festival returns to our FreeStage for a fourth year, bringing two artists from Australia’s jazz scene to London as part of EFG London Jazz Festival.

Contemporary violinist and composer Xani Kolac presents KOŁACZ, a new work exploring belonging, migration and the ways family names carry history. Inspired by the restoration of the diacritic to her Polish family name, the piece brings together international collaborators including Estonian accordionist, vocalist and composer Tuulikki Bartosik and double bassist Mingo Rajandi.

Composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Don Glori blends jazz, funk, soul, R&B and samba. Following his 2025 album Paper Can’t Wrap Fire, he presents new music with Eddie Lee (keys), Jamie Leeming (guitar) and Harry Ling (drums).

Stage times: 4–7pm. Stage times are approximate and subject to change.
