Evelyn Dupuy

Evelyn Dupuy has lived in the Netherlands for over ten years, yet her music stays rooted in Cuba. The singer started performing at a young age and draws on Afro-Latin rhythms, where tradition and contemporary influences meet. She has worked with Cimafunk and Chuchito Valdés, and has appeared at venues such as Het Concertgebouw, Melkweg and TivoliVredenburg. On The Voice of Holland she featured as ‘The Latin Voice’.

Her music is made for dancing and draws on the Cuban tradition, with songs she now performs on stages in the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany. Alongside her work as a singer, she advocates for diversity and female representation in the music industry.

After the concert the music will continue with a Cuban salsa party at our café with an incredible view, where everybody is invited to dance. Salsa Panorama, organized by Salsa District, has become a tradition at the BIMHUIS.
