Claire Martin/Stefan Holmstrom – Jazz Singer’s Workshop

A relaxed, informal day-long vocal workshop that will introduce Estill Voice Training® and give participants the opportunity to explore and build vocal craft with award-winning jazz singer Claire Martin and a renowned vocal coach Stefan Holmstrom.Join us during the opening weekend of the EFG London Jazz Festival for this relaxed, informal day-long vocal workshop at London's iconic 606 Club!
You will learn how to make a jazz standard your own while exploring vocal craft, style and stagecraft in a supportive setting.
The day starts with a trip to The Voice Gym where we will use Estill Voice Training® to warm up our voices before we explore vocal technique and ways to play with vocal colour, structure and form in jazz standards.
Ten active participants will have the opportunity to perform a selected song on stage accompanied by one of the most in-demand jazz pianists on the UK jazz scene. They will receive expert coaching and feedback from award-winning jazz singer Claire Martin OBE and her vocal coach Stefan Holmström EMCI to help them move their artistry forward.
