Kwame Yeboah is a generation-defining multi-instrumentalist, super-producer, and musical architect whose work bridges Ghanaian tradition with contemporary global sound. Moving fluently between Highlife, Jazz, and Afrobeats; Yeboah is widely recognized as the visionary behind the modern evolution of Ghana’s iconic Highlife genre.

Kwame began his journey at age five, the son of Highlife veteran A.K. Yeboah, mastering percussion before learning lead guitar and keyboards. His pursuit of technical mastery led him from Ghana to Denmark to study music harmony and arrangement, where he refined his craft under jazz luminaries such as Michel Camilo and Danilo Pérez. From Wassa in Ghana’s Western Region, Kwame Yeboah has become an internationally acclaimed composer, artist, musician, producer, musical director and multi-instrumentalist.

Yeboah’s international career is marked by collaborations with the world’s most influential musicians. He has served as a longtime Musical Director for Yusuf / Cat Stevens and Craig David, and has recorded or toured with legends such as Stevie Wonder, Shaggy, China Moses and Ms. Dynamite to name a few. His staggering versatility led fellow UK session elites—who have played for Eric Clapton and Elton John—to dub him "Kwame’s Army," a nod to his ability to master every instrument on stage. South African jazz legend Hugh Masekela further cemented Kwame's status by affectionately referring to him as his “Godson”, a long time mentor. His production and composition work also reaches across contemporary African music, with collaborations including Sarkodie, M.anifest and Kwabena Kwabena.

Throughout his career, Yeboah has shaped the sound of major recording projects and live ensembles as both musical director and producer. He is the creative force behind acclaimed bands including Ohia Bɛyɛ Ya, The Kwarmy Band and Kwashibu Area Band, whose powerful live performances have taken them around the world. He is the architect behind the signature sounds of BET Award-nominated Ghanaian artist Kojo Antwi, producing the breakthrough album Superman , and subsequent releases, helping to establish the distinctive sound that has defined Antwi’s recordings and live shows.

He has assembled elite musical teams for legends like Pat Thomas. Currently, he leads acclaimed ensembles including the Kwashibu Area Band and Ohia Bɛyɛ Ya (OBY), both of which have completed extensive world tours. A member of the Grammy Recording Academy, Yeboah continues to bridge the gap between heritage and modern innovation.
