About the Event

Heartland rock grit meets coastal cool — with echoes of The Pretenders and Tom Petty.

U.S.-based rock artist Miller Campbell, cousin of legendary songwriter Glen Campbell, turns intimate confessionals into anthems with an electrifying live performance. Her songs blend timeless rock swagger, sharp songwriting, and a commanding stage presence. Named one of rock-and-roll’s “Rising Stars” by SPIN, Campbell has toured across Europe and the U.S., earning radio support in both regions and a Billboard Heatseekers Award. Her debut LP, produced with Matt Drenik (Battleme) and released via Germany’s Legere Recordings, fuses classic rock energy with new wave swagger, Bakersfield sway, coastal cowgirl grit, and torch song sighs.

One part gritty, heartland rocker and one part coastal cool, Miller Campbell is a Montana-grown singer-songwriter known for delivering intimate confessionals disguised as anthems. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest and cousins with the famed songwriter, Glen Campbell, Miller has been named one of rock-and-roll’s “Rising Stars” by SPIN magazine. Just back from her second successful European tour, Miller signed her first vinyl-focused record deal with Germany’s Legere Recordings and released her debut full-length LP to critical praise from SPIN, Irish World, and American Songwriter. Now announced as part of Montana’s iconic Under the Big Sky Festival, she’s cementing her place as one of rock’s most exciting and authentic emerging voices.

With significant radio support in both the U.S. and U.K., a recent sync placement in a Sony feature film, and a Billboard Heatseekers Award, Campbell’s momentum continues to climb. On this latest effort, Miller found herself working with musician/producer Matt Drenik (Battleme) at his studio in Hollywood, pulling in various musicians to experiment and ultimately shape Campbell’s best work to date; a timeless rock record wrapped in new wave swagger, Bakersfield sway, coastal cowgirl grit, and torch song sighs. From feeling “stuck in the middle of a heart that’s breaking” to being “built like your idol, forever 10 feet high," Miller’s songs explore the dynamic nature of human emotions in a way that is familiar, complex, expressive, and undeniably her own.
