The Milk Carton Kids
About the Event
The Milk Carton Kids return with songs from their new album Lost Cause Lover Fool, alongside highlights from a GRAMMY-nominated folk and Americana catalogue.
The Milk Carton Kids, a duo known for tight vocal harmonies, intricate guitar interplay and live shows that mix precise playing with dry, off-the-cuff humour. Since their debut, they’ve built a global following and earned four GRAMMY nominations, including Best Folk Album nods for The Ash & Clay and Monterey, and Best American Roots Performance for ‘City of Our Lady’.
They’ve also worked across the Americana scene, collaborating with artists including Sara Bareilles, Rosanne Cash and Josh Ritter, and appearing on film and TV soundtracks including Promised Land and Girls5eva.
Their new album, Lost Cause Lover Fool, explores change, memory and folk narratives. New material sits alongside earlier releases in a set that moves between the two.
On stage, it’s just the two of them: two guitars, two voices, no backing band.
