PRIYA CARLBERG - Jules Gardner - Alex Quinn - Rahul Carlberg - Thorbjorn Stefansson - Jon Starks - Set and Session

A debut performance from this fine cast of musicians, performing Priya’s music.

Priya's work exists at the intersection of improvisation and composition.  Her process values aural intuition while pushing the boundaries of the human voice.  She often utilizes a stream of consciousness approach, serving as a cathartic and unfiltered means to process her emotions. In addition to her projects as a bandleader, she collaborates in several groups, finding immense value in collective experimentation, reciprocity, and growth.  Rooted in a diverse musical background, Carlberg's artistry draws from her classical piano studies, the jazz tradition, and her involvement in the rock and experimental music scenes.  Her performances are noted for their infusion of humor and theatrical elements, highlighting the playfulness of musical improvisation.
