Born in Hammersmith and raised in Brixton, Alex has enjoyed a career spanning more than three decades, including over 20 years as the lead vocalist of legendary funk and soul band Heatwave, performing to audiences across the UK, Europe, USA, Africa and the Middle East.

Now embarking on an exciting new chapter as a solo artist, Alex brings together the music that has defined his career with his own original material.

Mind Blowing will feature Heatwave classics, classic soul and funk, timeless R&B, Lovers Rock influences and Alex's original music — including Madame Butterfly, All The Way, As I Breathe This Morning, I Love The Way You Love Me and the long-awaited studio recording of Euphoria, a song Alex performed with Heatwave for many years.
