On a Medieval Trail

Did you know that the Middle Ages lasted for more than a thousand years? It was during this period that soaring Gothic cathedrals were built, spectacles and clocks were invented, along with many other things we can hardly imagine living without today. As we journey together through the music of the Middle Ages, we'll meet all kinds of people: knights, courtiers, merchants, pilgrims and wandering minstrels. We'll learn about how they lived, worked, prayed and entertained themselves, accompanied by musical works that are hundreds of years old and tell us more about the people of that age than many a book.
