The Nicolas Meier World Group celebrates the release of their new album, Elysian Drift, which blends jazz, world music, infectious grooves and virtuosic improvisation, creating a dynamic and richly textured sound.2026 sees the release of the new Nicolas Meier World Group album, Elysian Drift, which features his regular collaborators, Demi Garcia Sabat (percussion), Richard Jones (violin) and Tom Mason (bass) with the band expanded to include Alex Hutton on piano and Randolph Matthews on vocals. Across twelve original compositions, the album blends jazz, world music, infectious grooves and virtuosic improvisation, creating a dynamic and richly textured sound. A UK and European tour is planned in support of the release, which includes this performance at Cadogan Hall as a quintet, featuring Demi Garcia Sabat (percussion), Alex Hutton (piano), Richard Jones (violin),
Paul Michael (bass) and Nicolas Meier (fretted & fretless nylon guitars/glissentar).
