Born and raised in Edinburgh, Fraser Urquhart is one of the U.K's foremost pianists, specialising in jazz and American show-tunes of the 1920s-1950s. Cutting his teeth on the vibrant Scottish jazz scene, Fraser fast became a first-call rhythm section player for singers and horn players, playing regularly at Edinburgh Festival and Glasgow Jazz Festival.
Mikele Montolli studied violin from the age of seven and subsequently shifted to electric bass. By the age of seventeen, Montolli broadened his practice in classical double bass at Verona’s Conservatory. Following this, he moved to Graz, Austria where he was disciplined under the great Wayne Darling at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz, graduating in 2009 in jazz double bass.
