Tristan da Cunha

Tristan da Cunha is a post-classical, drone, and ambient ensemble based in Pavia, Italy. Named after the most remote inhabited island in the South Atlantic, the group explores themes of isolation, contemplation, and deep sonic research. With their latest record Maris Stella (released via Boring Machines), the project expanded to include viola, weaving acoustic drones, processed guitars, and orchestral textures into a sacred, minimal, and post-classical soundscape. An immersive performance navigating between solemn quietude and intense acoustic resonances.
