About the Event

Celebrate the release of Through Your Eyes with singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Thomas Ashby.

Accompanied on stage by Maeve Thorpe and El Rain, Ashby and his band blend folk, blues, and jazz to deliver moments of quiet reflection and soaring interplay, making for a captivating live experience.

Thomas Ashby is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer who weaves folk, blues and jazz into a sound which is both intimate and cinematic. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and Jamie Cullum, Ashby combines tender songwriting with rich, organic arrangements, creating records that reveal new details with every listen.

Previous releases have earned national airplay on BBC Radio 2 and Radio X, alongside praise from artists including Pixie Lott and Kele Okereke. His acclaimed album Better culminated in a sold-out headline show at London’s Servant Jazz Quarters, marking the arrival of an artist quietly forging his own path.

That journey continues with Through Your Eyes, Ashby’s most ambitious album to date. Determined to preserve the chemistry of live performance, he recorded the foundations of the album with his band playing together at Big Jelly Studio with no click track, before expanding the recordings with carefully crafted vocals and arrangement textures at his home studio. The result is an album that feels alive - organic, expansive and deeply human.

Joined on stage by drummer Maeve Thorpe and bassist El Rain, Ashby brings that same spirit of spontaneity to every performance. Whether delivering moments of quiet reflection or soaring musical interplay, the trio draw you into a world that feels vibrant, authentic and a little bit magic.

With Through Your Eyes, Thomas Ashby hasn’t just refined his sound - he’s embraced it fully. The result is a record that invites listeners to slow down, lean in, and experience the world through a different perspective.
