About the Event
Inspired by iconic 70’s songwriters such as Carol King and the likes of contemporary jazz artists such as Norah Jones, Hannah Brine returns to the Club with a special winter show, featuring original music, jazz favourites and a sprinkling of seasonal songs. Hannah’s debut album, “Blue Sky Now” was played on BBC Radio London and Jazz London Radio, receiving numerous enthusiastic reviews along the way (“That voice, just wonderful” BBC Introducing, "a shrewd understanding of the pop-jazz idiom" Jazzwise). Performance highlights include sold-out shows at Buxton Fringe, the Buxton Opera House supporting Rumer and the EFG London Jazz Festival. Now preparing to release her second record, “North Star” in spring 2027, expect an intimate, uplifting evening of gorgeous songs, storytelling and first-rate musicianship! Hannah's band features Paul Edis-piano; Jamie McCredie-guitar; Nick Walsh-bass and Billy Pod-drums.
“Serene, velvety vocals…a new singer giving the world her valuable point of view” Jazz Journal; “Brine’s touching vocal captures the emotional gradients of each syllable.” Old Gray Cat
