Experience the 21st-century fusion of Jazz and Afro-Cuban rhythms with The Latin Side All-Stars, led by trombonist Conrad Herwig. On the occasion of their centennial, this dynamic ensemble reimagines John Coltrane’s and Miles Davis’s iconic innovations through an Afro-Caribbean lens.
Herwig, is a longtime member of the Mingus Big Band and a Miles Davis collaborator. His career spans collaborations with jazz and Afro-Caribbean legends such as Quincy Jones, Eddie Palmieri, and Tito Puente brings vibrant energy to these Grammy-nominated projects. Enjoy a modern Afro-Caribbean jazz journey with selections like “A Love Supreme”, “Blue Trane”, “So What”, and “Flamenco Sketches,”.
