Wigmore Soloists

Flexible in size and omnivorous when it comes to repertoire, old and new, the Wigmore Soloists has established its place at the top table of chamber groups in the five years since making its debut. It trains its sights on three of the greatest works for wind ensemble this evening, opening with Beethoven’s light yet subtly powerful Octet before turning to two supreme examples of the wind serenade, each blessed with unforgettable melodies and sumptuous sonorities.
