Late Late Show with Nikki Yeoh’s Nucleus Sessions Play Coltrane featuring Denys Baptiste

The Nikki Yeoh Quartet was born from an invitation by BBC Radio 3 and the BBC Concert Orchestra to collaborate on a full symphonic celebration of the life, work and genius of John Coltrane at the EFG London Jazz Festival 2024 at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall

Joined by her long-time musical collaborator Denys Baptiste, award-winning bassist Ewan Hastie (BBC Young Jazz Musician 2022) and Miranda Radford, one of the UK’s exciting next-generation jazz drummers, Yeoh brings together four distinctive voices in a performance that celebrates the spiritual power, freedom and innovation of Coltrane’s music. Music played with heart and soul, from a place of unity, in the spirit of John Coltrane.
