Jeremy Viner is a Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist, improviser, composer, and educator whose work spans a wide array of musical idioms. After nearly two decades in New York City, he relocated to Berlin in 2023, maintaining an active presence in both the New York and European experimental music scenes.

Viner is a founding member of the collaborative trio SIFTERS, with Kate Gentile and Marc Ducret — a group exploring complex polyrhythmic frameworks, counterpoint, and the integration of composed and spontaneous form.

For nearly two decades, Viner has worked with the Brooklyn-based chamber-minimalist ensemble Bing & Ruth. His recordings with the group include Tomorrow Was the Golden Age (named one of Pitchfork’s 50 best ambient albums of all time) and No Home of the Mind (included in Rolling Stone’s 20 Best Avant-Garde Albums of 2017).

Since 2012, he has also been a member of the four-tenor-saxophone quartet Battle Trance, whose music uses breath, resonance, and close ensemble coordination to create a single shifting body of sound. Its recording Blade of Love appeared in Rolling Stone’s 20 Best Avant Albums of 2016.

Viner has performed with John Hollenbeck’s ensembles since 2009, appearing on the Grammy-nominated recordings All Can Work and Eternal Interlude. Previous collaborations include work with Steve Lehman, Tyshawn Sorey, Tim Berne, Anna Webber, and Rafiq Bhatia. His performances have taken him to the North Sea Jazz Festival, Big Ears, Moers Festival, Winter Jazzfest, Jazzfest Berlin, and the London Jazz Festival.

A guitarist, electric bassist, composer, and educator, Simon Jermyn is an NYC/Berlin based musician originally from Ireland. Simon is busy with a variety of projects and bands, including Jim Black's Smash and Grab, Wood River, the Marc Hannaford Trio, Roamer, and Sooner, as well as his own band Obsany and solo performances.

As a sideman and collaborator, Simon has worked with Jim Black, Chris Speed, John Zorn, Gerald Cleaver, Mat Maneri, Anna Webber, Tom Rainey, Chris Lightcap, Ingrid Laubrock, Mark Ferber, Michaël Attias, Tony Malaby, Ben Goldberg, Jeff Davis, Allison Miller, Nate Wood, Simon Nabatov, Loren Stillman, Satoshi Takeishi, Caleb Burhans, and many others. He has performed at the Village Vanguard, The Stone, Winter Jazz Fest, Joe's Pub, and many other clubs, festivals and performance spaces around the world.

Based in Oslo, Norwegian bass player Ole Morten Vågan has been a central part of the scandinavian jazz and impro community for the last decade, performing with among others Motif, The Deciders, Håvard Wiik Trio, The Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, Maria Kannegaard Trio, Andratx, Bugge Wesseltofts NCOJ, Maciej Obara Int. Quartet, Audun Kleive´s Generator X and more recently also Joshua Redman Trio with Jorge Rossy and Ole Morten Vagan . After discovering jazz as a youngster in the Northern town of Brønnøysund (just below the polar circle), he went on to study with amongst others the fantastic bassist Mats Eilertsen, and attending the very influential Jazz Conservatory in Trondheim, Norway.

Also active as a composer, he has written commisions for a.o. the Grammy Nominated norwegian string orchestra The Trondheim Soloists, and more recently for the well renowned Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, of which he is now Artistic Director for 2017-2019 - In addition to steadily writing for bands like Motif and The Deciders for the last ten years.

Lukas Akintaya, also known as Adeolu, is a Berlin-based drummer, composer and music producer. As a cross-disciplinary musician, he explores diverse experiential and genre defying projects within the creative music industry. His musical conception is profoundly influenced by the Black art form of jazz, along with its wide and deep ranging cultural heritage and societal impact.His second Album “The in between”, released on November 7th, 2025 on cologne-based powerhouse Records, is a meditation on the multifacetedness of existence. It centers searching and belonging, fnding place in the in-between. Driven by a deeply collaborative spirit, the album blends personal poetry with non-linear storytelling, opening a space that listens as much as it speaks.
