Sant Andreu Jazz Band - The Jazz House Sessions with Paul Nedzela

Bursting with energy, swing, and remarkable young talent, Barcelona’s internationally acclaimed Sant Andreu Jazz Band brings its celebrated youth big band to the stage under the direction of bassist, saxophonist, and educator Joan Chamorro. Featuring musicians ranging from roughly ages 7 to 21, the ensemble breathes fresh life into the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, bebop, and beyond with the kind of joy and musicianship that has earned them audiences around the world.

The evening continues with three selections from the album performed by the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, alongside captivating arrangements for smaller ensembles. Special guest Paul Nedzela brings an added dimension to this vibrant musical conversation between Barcelona and New York.
