Natalie Williams & Jamie Safir Trio: Double Standards

A rare opportunity to hear one of the UK’s finest vocalists paying homage to her first love, the Great American Songbook. MOBO-nominated artist, Natalie is regularly seen at Ronnie Scott’s, having hosted her Soul Family Sunday residency here for 19 years, guesting with Incognito and as a member of the illustrious Ronnie Scott’s All Stars.

Natalie Williams is joined by critically-acclaimed jazz virtuoso and much sought-after arranger, Jamie Safir  (Will Young, Kylie Minogue, Claire Martin, Ian Shaw) and his trio.

This dynamic show offers a brand-new programme of songs originating from Broadway, from the 1920s through to the 1960s, interwoven with tales from show-business history. Expect well-known classics from the likes of Porter, Gershwin, Kern and Berlin alongside lesser-known gems from Cy Coleman, Hoagy Carmichael and more.
