  Fima Trio is a New York City-based band led by Ukrainian-born pianist and multimedia composer Fima Chupakhin. With James Robbins on bass and Corey Garcia on drums, the trio explores a deeply personal yet globally resonant sound—one shaped by jazz tradition, cinematic textures, and the urgency of the present moment. Their debut album Hymn for the Fallen is a tribute to resilience and humanity in times of upheaval. Featuring original compositions by Chupakhin and Robbins, the record channels a spirit of searching, reflection, and hope.
