Laura Lantano

After studying music technology and classical piano, she trained as a jazz vocalist at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, grounding her artistry in harmony, improvisation, and expressive performance.

Laura has headlined shows at Crazy Coqs, Green Note, Piano Smithfield, and 1901 Arts Club, and appeared at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club (Upstairs) and Jazz Café POSK.

She also curated and ran the Jazz Singers Jam at Oliver’s Jazz Bar, hosting evenings featuring leading vocalists including Heidi Vogel, Anita Wardell, Emilia Mårtensson, and Brigitte Beraha.

Her debut album, Returning To Myself, features a collection of original compositions recorded with pianist Sam Leak and tenor saxophonist Duncan Eagles. The trio collaboration established a sound that continues to shape her work, with songs exploring love, heartache, and renewal through carefully crafted arrangements.

Her forthcoming EP Where Are You Really From? explores identity, family, and heritage, drawing on stories and rhythms from her Filipino and Mauritian roots. Joined by pianist Rob Brockway and tenor saxophonist Robin Porter, Laura brings this music to life through soulful and unforgettable performances.
