Pat Metheny: Side-Eye III+

The acclaimed jazz musician returns to the Hall with the latest evolution of his celebrated project, Side-Eye III+. Side-Eye III+ showcases Pat Metheny’s enduring dedication to mentoring the next generation of jazz innovators while exploring fresh sonic territories. He is joined by Chris Fishman (piano and keyboards), Jermaine Paul (bass) and Joe Dyson (drums). Together, this stellar line-up brings a bold, genre-defying sound that reflects both deep musical tradition and fearless experimentation. At 15, Metheny was working with the best jazz musicians in Kansas City. At 19, He became the youngest teacher at the Berklee College of Music. Over the years, he has performed with Steve Reich, Ornette Coleman, Herbie Hancock and David Bowie to name a few. Metheny’s work includes compositions for solo guitar, small ensembles, electric and acoustic instruments, large orchestras and ballet pieces, always sidestepping the limits of any one genre.
