Frances Madden

One of the finest young independent singer-songwriters and piano players in London, Frances Madden’s last show at Ronnie Scott's sold out months in advance. Now she's back, armed with her much-anticipated new EP Next Flight Home.

Frances’ unique adult contemporary sound emerged from her previous roots in the Australian jazz scene. Before making the move to the UK two years ago, Frances regularly headlined at clubs and festivals in Australia and supported icons on tour there including Dionne Warwick and Gregory Porter. Her crossover album Beautiful World won five nominations at the Australian Songwriting Awards. She also received international recognition performing her women’s anthem She Will Rise to a global TV audience as the feature entertainment for the Australian Open tennis final.Frances’s new EP Next Flight Home was recorded in London with Grammy Award-winning producer Cameron Craig (Adele, Katie Melua). The new music is characterised by beautiful melodies, engaging harmonies and poignant lyrics. Enjoyed live, every song is a story told by a captivating and charming performer.
