Acantha Lang sings Gladys Knight

Few voices in soul music are as recognisable as Gladys Knight. Known as the “Empress of Soul”, the seven-time GRAMMY Award winner has spent more than six decades captivating audiences with a voice defined by warmth, grit, gospel and emotion. Her remarkable catalogue includes some of soul music’s most enduring recordings.

Lang’s own music has amassed more than 10 million streams, while her debut album Beautiful Dreams reached #3 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart and earned Jazz FM A-list support. BBC Radio 6 Music’s Craig Charles has called her “brilliant… destined for world domination”.

The set includes some of Knight’s best-loved songs, including “Midnight Train to Georgia”, “Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)”, “Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me” and “If I Were Your Woman”.
