Jalen Baker is an acclaimed American vibraphonist, composer and bandleader making his mark on the international jazz scene, praised by DownBeat as “a bold new vibraphonist in jazz town who warrants an ear”. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago with an MFA from Florida State University and an alumnus of Houston’s renowned HSPVA, he has performed with leading artists including Jeremy Pelt, Johnathan Blake, Ulysses Owens Jr. and Tim Warfield, while also establishing himself as a distinctive voice with his own quartet.
