Bluesday: Piedmont Bluz

Step into an intimate, story-filled evening as Valerie and Benedict Turner bring the sound and spirit of early country blues to life. More than performers, they are storytellers and cultural historians, on a mission to celebrate the profound contributions of early African American artists through intricate fingerpicking, rhythmic grooves, and vivid anecdotes that transport you to the 1920s and 30s. It’s a warm, up-close night at Dizzy’s that feels personal, lively, and deeply connected to the roots of American music.
