Nubya Garcia

London-born saxophonist, composer and bandleader Nubya Garcia has become one of the defining voices of a new generation of British jazz, creating music that moves freely between jazz, dub, R&B, broken beat and classical influences. Her Mercury Prize-nominated debut Source earned widespread acclaim, while 2024’s Odyssey expanded her sound with sweeping orchestral arrangements and rich, groove-led compositions. Having taken her music from Glastonbury and Newport Jazz to Radio City Music Hall, Nubya now brings her expansive sound to the intimate setting of Blue Note London.
