Abel Hox plays Bach's Goldberg Variations

Tonight, pianist Abel Hox will perform one of the most impressive works in the piano repertoire: Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations. This music pushes technique, concentration, polyphonic listening, and a sense of form to their absolute limits. At the same time, it offers the pianist exceptional interpretive freedom. It is a work with which pianist Abel Hox has engaged deeply and intensively for a long time, and in which he continues to discover new layers.
