Borodin Quartet: Debussy and Sjostakovitsj

Debussy and Shostakovich prove that poignant beauty can be achieved in very different ways. Works by both composers are on the music stands of the world-famous Borodin Quartet. The quartet collaborated with Shostakovich in the distant past: a gold mine of performance information has become embedded in the musicians' interpretative language. For that reason alone, this evening will be unique.
