Heavenly sounds: Vivaldi, Corelli and their French contemporaries

A festive programme celebrating French and Italian Baroque, in which style, imagination and instrumental virtuosity come together. Masterpieces by Jean-Philippe Rameau and François Couperin showcase the refinement of the French court tradition. Two notable highlights are Vivaldi’s spectacular La follia and Corelli’s influential sonata, performed by a sparkling ensemble.
