About the Event
SALOMEA, the boundary-pushing band led by German Jazz Prize-winning Artist of the Year 2026 Rebekka Salomea, is gracing London with their first-ever show. This electrifying event arrives just two days after the release of their fourth studio album axxxis.
Renowned for their genre-fluid performances, SALOMEA transforms any venue into a fully immersive experience of sound movement and emotion. Prepare for an intense, innovative and undeniably present concert. It’s not just a show – it’s a moment brimming with surprises as the band takes risks and leads with an unforgettably honest voice. Catch them up close as they debut new material and the room shifts with it. Expect a rare kind of focus where every detail is meticulously crafted and nothing feels accidental.
SALOMEA is far more than just a band—it is a family shaped by years of living and surviving together: love and breakups, loss and healing, therapy sessions, extensive touring, laughter and tears, shared silence when words aren’t enough. Together, they have climbed mountains, crossed rivers, created rituals, and experienced life in all its facets. Out of this emerged a sound that feels like home—built far from the beaten path.
German-American musician, singer, composer & producer Rebekka Salomea, together with her exceptional band—Yannis Anft on keys, Oliver Lutz on bass, and Leif Berger on drums—has built a steadily growing following with their unique sound: alternative RnB, Nu-Jazz and spectacular live shows.
Named “Artist of the Year” at the German Jazz Prize 2026, Rebekka Salomea and her band have opened for Brainfeeder artists such as Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi, and collaborated with Salami Rose Joe Louis, Ray Lozano, Silvan Strauss, Gianni Brezzo, Stimming, the NDR Big Band, Oscar #Worldpeace, Justin Brown, Tom Ford, and many more. Further collaborations include multimedia artists such as Luise Zücker, Sophie Yukiko, Parissa Charghi, and Gîn Bali.
With passion, endurance, and uncompromising dedication, SALOMEA has secured a firm place in the European music scene. The band has captivated audiences on some of Europe’s most exciting festival stages and beyond, including Elbjazz (Arte Concert), ÜBERJAZZ, c/o pop, XJAZZ, Berlin Pop-Kultur, Jazz Open, Moers Festival, Cologne Jazzweek (DE), Chile Jazz Festival (CL), Tallinn Music Week (EE), Athens Music Week (GR), Waves Vienna (AT), Jazzablanca (Morocco), and the Avignon Jazz Festival (FR).
Against a backdrop of hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and electronica, SALOMEA creates music and shares stories that become a space, a sound, and a feeling of belonging and ultimately, of freedom.
