HILLAI GOVREEN - Woodwinds

 Hillai Govreen is a New York based clarinetist, saxophonist, and composer. She is a graduate of The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music where she studied with Tony Malaby and Chris Cheek. Since graduating, she has performed at venues in NYC including The Jazz Gallery, Dizzy's Club, Smalls, Mezzrow, and Birdland, and has toured in Europe, US, India and Brazil. She has also collaborated with artists such as George Cables, George Colligan, Allison Miller, Arturo O'Farrill, Joey Alexander, Gino Sitson and Steve Cardenas. Her latest album Every Other Now,  was released in August 2025 on Fresh Sound. Hillai is an endorsing artist for P. Mauriat.
