A showcase celebrating the Irish music scene's most exciting independent talent.Negro Impacto are an independent Irish duo comprising of vocalist-songwriter Chi Chi and producer/multi-instrumentalist Laurence (aka StrangeLove). The pair have been on a fast trajectory since their inception in 2021, with a unique sound that flows from Neo Soul to R&B and Funk capturing attention across the Irish scene and beyond. What started as a casual collaboration after meeting at a local Dundalk skatepark has grown into one of Ireland's most exciting musical acts. The ever-evolving band lineup has graced the stages of Primavera Pro Barcelona, Electric Picnic and All Together Now while supporting acts like Madness, Ojerime, and STRFKR. Their live performances showcase the energy and fun of contemporary Irish music. Expect an eclectic mix of incredible musicianship, inventive live arrangements and infectious vocals for their EFG London Jazz Festival debut.
GAPTOOF, is a London based hip-hop producer whose music is built on collaboration. Emerging during the Soundcloud era of 2016, over the past decade he's worked with some of the most exciting voices across the UK and Ireland including Kofi Stone, Lord Apex, Kojaque and Lex Amor. From Boiler Room London to support from BBC Radio 1Xtra, NTS and Reprezent Radio, Gaptoof continues to bridge underground hip-hop with forward-thinking production, bringing the same energy to his live sets as he does to the studio. The Roland SP-404 remains the cornerstone of his live sets, its distinctive sound allowing him to blend beats and samples with soulful performance.
