Orsino Ensemble

Orsino Ensemble’s explorations of the wind chamber repertoire have won international acclaim and a keen following. The group, formed by flautist Adam Walker in 2018, boasts some of the UK’s finest wind players. The Orsinos open with Ulf-Guido Schäfer’s sparkling arrangement for wind quintet of extracts from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and crown their concert with the four movements of Jean Françaix’s suave First Wind Quintet, composed in 1948.
