A year and a half ago, Jiaxin Min captured attention at the 2025 Queen Elisabeth Competition. Since then, the young pianist has become a familiar presence on concert stages. During her third solo recital at Flagey, she celebrates a new milestone: the release of her first CD. Her programme reveals the full breadth of her musical versatility. Debussy’s dreamlike Préludes are paired with the profound melancholy of Beethoven’s piano sonata Les Adieux. Johannes Brahms’s Piano Sonata No. 2 in F-sharp minor, once described by Robert Schumann as a “veiled symphony”, reveals the young composer’s orchestral imagination.
