Akin Soul and the Soul Tribe, present a night to remember of Jazz, Soul, Gospel, RnB and Blues, all in the realm of spiritual music. The message on this night is to celebrate love and life with the eclectic, magic sounds of music. Inspired by the greats, Marvin Gaye, D'angelo, Boys 2 Men, Jodeci, Stevie Wonder, and Donny Hathaway - Akin Soul's sound will take you on a ride through the ages of music.

Akin Soul is a multi-instrumentalist - "soul singer", born in Dallas, Texas and raised in South East London. He was born in the church and sang in the choir as a child, eventually picking up the piano to accompany himself and found the trombone on the way too. Akin Soul spent his teen years playing shows, making a name for himself around the UK Jazz scene at Jams such as Orii, Steam Down and the likes at the time. He founded Akin Soul and the Soul Tribe during this journey in 2018, who went to play at astounding venues and festivals such as Glastonbury, All Points East, A Love Supreme, We Out Here and Royal Albert Hall and a plethora of other locations. In recent years Akin's live experience has grown to stretch across the globe from LA, to New York to playing COP30 last November in Brazil!

With a motivation to explore the way of the Universe and Gaia, Akin has just graduated from an astrophysics degree at the University of Sussex in Brighton. He takes inspiration from the cosmic energies of Lonnie Liston Smith, and Sun Ra in his soul-searching motivation to raise the vibration of society in the sacred name of Love. You will leave this show nourished in your soul.
