Great Pianists: Nikolai Lugansky plays Chopin and Schumann

Praised by Le Monde as ‘one of the most outstanding artists of our time’, Nikolai Lugansky ranks among the absolute elite of pianists. The Moscow-born musician feels at home in the great Romantic repertoire and returns regularly to The Concertgebouw to perform it. Tonight he presents Schumann's monumental Fantasia together with Chopin's poetic 24 Préludes – works born of longing for love.
