Line-up: VULA MALINGA – vocalsLine-up changes each month Vula Malinga, the queen of RnB and an integral part of Soul Family, brings her 90s groove and soul to this popular late-night slot. At her Late Late Shows, Vula curates a unique line-up of emerging soul and RnB talent, with some special guests often dropping in. Hailed for her powerful voice and electrifying performances, Vula Malinga started out as one of the lead singers for the London Community Gospel Choir. This brought her to the attention of Basement Jaxx, with whom she sang lead vocals on their hit 'Oh My Gosh'. She has since collaborated with top artists like Sam Smith, Becky Hill, legendary DJ Pete Tong and jazz icon Quincy Jones. Vula's versatility has also seen her working with the BBC Proms team and the BBC Concert Orchestra. We have recently changed the vibe of our Thursday Late Late Shows by adding music influenced by jazz-funk, soul, R&B and hip hop. Hosts on Thursdays present their show with different guests each month, and a DJ will play sets before and after the live sets.Most tickets for the Late Late Show are available on the door if advance tickets have sold out.
